Pourquoi aller sur le Moro Dois Irmaos tu te demandes ?!?   The top of this Morro (it means Hill in English), is for me the best view of Rio. No topo do Morro, esta a melhor vista do Rio na minha opinião. Du sommet de ce Morro (cela veut dire Coline en Français), ce trouve a mon avis la plus belle vue de Rio. To reach the top of this Morro, it is not really complicated and it is a nice experience.
First, you have to reach the entrance of the Favela Vidigal (pacified in 2011). You can take a city bus, a taxi or a car (park at the Sheraton Hotel, less than R$40 for 4h). From there you have 2 options. You can take a moto-taxi (R$3) or walk. The moto-taxi is way faster (10 minutes) but the walk (45 minutes) is far more interesting. Walking through a Favela really gives you the time to realize what it is to live there. Para chegar ao topo do morro, não é muito complicado e sim uma gostosa experiência.
Primeiro você tem que ir para a entrada da favela do Vidigal (que foi pacificada em 2011, então não fique com medo). Você pode chegar lá de ônibus, taxi ou de carro ( o estacionamento no hotel Sheraton fica super perto e custa em torno de R$40,00 por 4 horas). De lá você tem duas opções. Pode pegar um moto taxi (R$3,00) ou andar. O moto taxi e mais rápido (10 minutos) e uma aventura a parte diga-se de passagem, mas caminhar (45 minutos) e de longe muito mais interessante. Andar pela comunidade do Vidigal realmente te da a noção de como as pessoas vivem ali e cada detalhe faz parte da experiência. Pour accéder a ce Morro, il suffit se rendre a la Favela Vidigal (pacifiée depuis 2011). Tu peux prendre un taxi, un bus ou si tu as une voiture gare toi dans le parking du Sheraton Hôtel (moins de R$40 pour 4h). Traverse ensuite la Favela a pied (45 minutes) ou en 10 minutes de moto-taxi (R$3).                                                                 Favela Vidigal   Then the second part of the adventure will bring you through the nature of the Morro. Going up, at some point you will be able to see the Favela Rocinha on your left (West) and later the Favela Vidigal on your right (East). After an 1 hour walk, you will finally reach the top and will, I am sure, be left speechless by the view !!! A segunda parte da aventura vai ser desbravar a trilha dentro do morro (naquele estilo de trilha para se chegar em uma cachoeira, no meio da natureza mesmo). Durante a subida, chega um momento que você tem uma vista incrível da favela da Rocinha no lado direito, e depois…a favela do Vidigal a esquerda. Após 1 hora de caminhada (subida), tenho certeza que você ficará sem palavras diante da vista que vai encontrar. Suis ensuite le sentier a travers la foret (1 heure). Lors de l’ascension, tu pourras voir sur ta gauche une magnifique vue sur la Favela Rocinho. Un peu plus tard sur ta droite, tu pourras admirer la Favela Vidigal. Au bout de 2h30 de marche (si tu as décidé de ne pas prendre le moto-taxi), tu verras que tes efforts seront amplement récompensés !!!                                                                   Favela Rocinha                                                                   Favela Vidigal                                                                     Sao Conrado   My Kool Tips:
I would advise you to walk through the Favela instead of taking the moto-taxi. And no need to go there for the Sunset since the sun will set behind the view of Rio. But I would definitely recommend you to go there on the morning. The light is better and you will find less tourists. I did not see it but I am sure the sunrise from there must be absolutely gorgeous. Eu indicaria subir a favela a pé ao invés de pegar o moto taxi. E não há necessidade de subir na hora do por do sol, já que o sol se põe atrás da vista do Rio… essa hora você vai encontrar muita gente disputando o melhor ângulo para a foto. Eu definitivamente recomendaria fazer a trilha pela manhã. Melhor luz e muito menos turistas. Eu não fui de manhã, mas tenho certeza que assistir ao sol nascendo deve ser incrível. Je te conseille vivement de traverser Vidigal a pied. C’est le meilleur moyen de se rendre compte des conditions de vie des habitants d’une Favela. Par contre pas besoin d’espérer voir le soleil se coucher sur la ville puisque du sommet du Morro, le soleil se couchera sur la coline dans ton dos. A la place je te suggèrerait cet étape de Rio tôt le matin, afin de bénéficier de la meilleure lumière et d’éviter les touristes. Voire pourquoi pas très très tôt et ainsi découvrir j’imagine un incroyable lever du soleil sur la ville.                                                                   Favela Vidigal
